About the Project

I chose to enter this competition brief as I wanted to gain experience in working on a packaging and branding brief. I felt this would be a good area to develop within my portfolio and a new topic of general interest I wanted to expand upon. Working on this brief did not disappoint my anticipations that I would enjoy this project. I loved having the freedom to create a vibrant exciting brand image to diversify and appeal to the 'young arty sector'. 

My final design is bold and colourful to grab consumers' attention to the shelf which the REVIVE pack would be displayed on. I wanted the design concept to have an animated look which makes an impact that is hard to ignore, as that is often the nature of many street art pieces.

By having two plain sides of the box the user it encourages the user to get creative and personalise their kit. The main material for the box will be formed from recycled tinplate. For added impact the drips under the REVIVE text on the box will have layered levels of embossing to animate the effect of paint dripping down the box.
