Today I wanted to spark a bit of creative flair and improve my typography skill-set so I have been trialling a new way of warping text though the Envelope Distort tool on Adobe Illustrator. I love how organic you can make the text look and how you can pair this aspect with different font styles to create emphasis on key words in the text. I think this is one of my new favourite methods for creating illustrative text!

Lately I've been seeing a lot of sponsored ads on my Instagram feed and I've noticed its a really effective way to engage online users and grab their attention. As a result, it's inspired me to start a new project and expand my experience in creating online advertising content.

Here's the first concept - a fictitious coffee brand selling quality, Arabica Coffee Beans for fresh homemade coffee.

Out on a daily lockdown walk this bank holiday weekend, I saw this gorgeous plant and had to take a photo! I'm really pleased with how the image came out, and how the focus has captured the exquisite detail on this unique plant.
I'm am looking forward to creating something special with this soon!

I needed a little lockdown motivation so I decided to get back to creating some graphics just for the fun of it.

For a final fresh Ad concept for the Coffeca brand I have created a more vibrant and colourful campaign in the theme of grabbing the users' attention early in the morning.
We could all use a bit of extra morning motivation sometimes so when I found this image I envisaged it as the perfect foundation for creating the morning coffee Ad campaign for the Coffeca brand. 

To further develop my Photoshop skills, I've added a few more butterflies to the composition and experimented with changing the colours on their wings.

One minute I was designing a logo, then the next thing I knew I was mocking up a website layout! - Goes to show that productivity blossoms when you're passionate about a project!

Still a few things to add but I'm really excited about how this project is progressing so far
 so I wanted to share it with you!

Here's some further proposal designs for the Coffeca instagram "Ad campaigns". I wanted to experiment with adding in some more illustrated elements to the composition to give a more dynamic look and natural yet eye-catching aesthetic. Additionally I've altered the colours and transparency of the overlay on the images to compliment the different boarder colours.

And here's the first edit!
Using Adobe Photoshop, I've worked on retouching the image to get rid of the dark purple petal on the left of the flower.
To enhance the image, bring in some more colour and a touch of contrast, I've added in a beautiful little butterfly.

I wanted to create something fresh and vibrant for the Big Kahuna Project, therefore I decided to learn a new typography technique today! Using Adobe Illustrator's gradient and blend tools I have experimented to create a unique and bold title for the brand. Here's the finished result incorporated into a banner for the Big Kahuna branding project.
